This week we’ll look at some of the more common coverage options in the third part of our series on car insurance coverage.
Over the last few weeks we’ve looked at three types of coverage available, whether required or optional, on any Texas car insurance policy. These include liability coverage, uninsured motorist coverage, and the three most common types of deductibles. The next coverage available to Texas drivers provides for medical care and support services.
Early in my insurance career, I was attending a larger party with a number of friends when a woman came up to me with tears in her eyes. Her husband, who was coming in their other car, had been involved in an accident not far from where we were gathered and she did not know what to do. We left the party together in her car and I drove us to where the accident had occurred, a southbound service road of North Central Expressway in Dallas.

I talked with a prospective client last week. She’s rolling off her parent’s car insurance policy and having to buy her first car insurance policy. She’s a little nervous about the car insurance being added to her overall budget but is ready financially and can handle it.
