Every home insurance quote begins in a conversation with the home owner or buyer. I take the time to understand how the home is finished out such as the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, type of floor coverings, roof type, etc. This information is then entered into the replacement cost system for each insurance company we work with which in turn generates a home’s replacement cost value.

On July 8, 2013, the Dallas Morning News shared Kirstyn Blackwood’s story. She’d been out with friends on a boat at Lake Ray Hubbard near Rockwall for the fourth. After a day of sun and partying, the boat fired up its engine and headed back to the marina. The only problem was Kirstyn who’d jumped off the boat was accidently left by her group. She called out to the boat when it began to pull away but wasn’t heard due to the music being played. They discovered she was missing when they arrived back at the marina and notified the police.
Memorial Day weekend starts in a couple of days marking the end of the school year and the beginning of summer. Most teens are thinking about freedom, summer vacation, maybe a job, or some other activity for the next couple of months.

Each was about the same thing; they’d received a notice from their mortgage company notifying them of a deficit in their escrow account. They had the option of paying the escrow shortage or it could be factored into their already increased monthly home mortgage payment. Sheri and I also received the same notice a few weeks earlier.
