?Buying a new car can be an exciting experience. You do the research, take test drives, and handpick every option to make it truly YOUR car. You’ve even made it through the finance office. Now it’s time to drive it off the lot. It’s yours! You post pictures on Facebook, tweet pictures of your new ride and even offer to drive coworkers to lunch so they can smell the “new car” smell! You are loving it!
?One of the most difficult and dangerous places to drive in Texas is on our highways. Driving through one of the major construction projects takes that experience to another level. ?Several years ago, I rear ended a truck in stop and go traffic on I-35 in Dallas. It was my fault. Six years ago, I was rear ended by a truck and it was their fault. Usually the person who hits the person in front of them is at fault. Unless of course the person in front does something that would not be considered an intelligent move, like the guy who changed a tire in the middle of the road on a two lane highway! That was not the case last week!

?I’ve lived in Texas for 32 years. On more than one occasion, I’ve heard people describe Texas drivers as aggressive, bad, you name it. None of the descriptions were “complimentary!” But guess what my fellow Texans? No city in Texas made Allstate’s top 10 list for worst US drivers.
Toyota recently announced it was recalling 7.43 million cars, trucks & SUVs worldwide. The issue is faulty power window switches that can cause fires. More than a dozen models from 2005 to 2010 are affected and include;
Marc Summers, the Food Network star & producer was in Philadelphia in early August taping an episode of Restaurant Impossible. After the taping, he caught a cab to his next destination. The driver lost control in the midst of a torrential rain storm, hydroplaned and crashed. Summers wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and struck the partition between the front and back seats of the taxi disfiguring his face.
